Description

The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for WFA’s Sourcing Forum and will work on evolving the marketing sourcing function within WFA and across the wider industry.

The role offers huge growth potential and provides the right candidate with a unique opportunity to act as a conduit for a network of diverse personalities from various backgrounds around the world, driving projects with the ambition of positively shaping the industry.

The role can be based in Brussels, London or New York, but international travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Writing and updating content relevant to the Forums priorities, such as PowerPoint presentations and thought leadership reports;
  • Organising and delivering online or in-person events and producing meeting overviews including the key takeouts from the member-led discussions;
  • Responding to requests by leveraging the collective knowledge of the network, for example, through member surveys and benchmarks;
  • Managing CRM-driven communications and direct outreach to the membership regarding recent and upcoming WFA initiatives relevant to our sourcing community;
  • Collaborating with industry partners at both global and local levels, where appropriate, on industry initiatives;
  • Growing the WFA network by recruiting new members.

 Personal abilities & experience

  • 5+years’ experience of agency management / marketing procurement with either an agency, consultancy, client or trade association background;
  • Service-oriented mentality that prioritises responsiveness;
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with public speaking and presentation skills;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • A results-driven self-starter who can take initiative and lead projects autonomously;
  • Analytical skills in interpreting data, qualitative research and report writing, mainly in PowerPoint;
  • Curious by nature with the appetite to seek out new and innovative voices and solutions;
  • Personable and highly collaborative;
  • Ideally a balance of skills across data analysis and more nuanced qual research and report writing;
  • Native level English is essential, other languages a bonus.
