AirAsia, Estée Lauder, RBS and TomTom have all joined the World Federation of Advertisers, taking corporate membership to 80 of the world's biggest brand owners.

Overall, WFA has seen its corporate membership rise by twelve in the first nine months of 2015 with eight other companies joining earlier this year: Bayer, eBay, Emirates, Mazda, Nike, Swarovski, Vestel and Volvo.

The growth in corporate membership has been complemented by the strengthening of WFA's network of national advertiser associations. In 2015 alone, four advertiser associations have joined, expanding WFA's global footprint to 58 associations covering 63 of the biggest markets worldwide. The newest members are the Association of National Advertisers of Bolivia, the Cameroon Marketing Association, Marketing Society of Kenya and Marketers Association of Zimbabwe.

"The growth in membership is proof that organisations increasingly see the benefits of being globally networked in order to leverage the collective knowledge of peers, cut down on trial and error and, ultimately, protect their license to operate in these challenging times for the marketing industry", said Stephan Loerke, Managing Director of the WFA.
