Consumers have spoken. In the 12th edition of the 'Good Ads Awards' (Premios Buenos Anuncios), the Argentinian Advertisers' Association (Cámara Argentina de Anunciantes %u2013 CAA) recognized advertisers and creative and media agencies who have demonstrated excellence and effectiveness in their advertising campaigns.
Considered as "the voice of consumers", the selection of winners of the Good Ads Award was determined by an online survey where consumers voted for their favorite ad campaigns. Goods and Services were the two main categories accompanied by several specific categories where the criteria were persuasion, impact and brand recall.
The awards ceremony was held in the Faena Arts Center in Buenos Aires and chaired by CAA's General Manager, Philip Perez. Out of 36 finalists, 12 statuettes were handed out. The big winner was PepsiCo, who was given the Platinum award for its "Experto en promociones" (Expert in promotions) TV commercial. PepsiCo shares this award with advertising agencies' BBDO and Zenith.
