The Association of Venezuelan Advertisers (ANDA Venezuela) celebrated marketing excellence in the 2015 edition of their flagship awards event, ANDA Excellence Awards.
The awards ceremony that took place in October welcomed representatives from the commercial communications sector and expressed the association's appreciation for the hard work and dedication of Venezuelan advertisers and agencies in a challenging year for the country's marketing industry.
"Members of Venezuela's commercial communications sector have been faced with many challenges that they have surpassed by innovating the way they work. This is worthy of recognition. Our ANDA Awards this year were meant to be a reflection of that sense of change, a rebirth so to speak," said Ruben Salazar, President of ANDA, during his keynote speech.
A staggering total of 177 prizes were given out, within 62 award categories. The winners were determined by a panel of 74 judges from different sectors of the Venezuelan marketing industry.
Among the night's big winners were Nestlé Venezuela for Advertiser of the Year, ARS DDB as Agency of the Year, Ofimak's "Máquina del Tiempo" (Time Machine) for the TV-Film Grand Prix, Banesco's "Héroes Anónimos" (Unsung Heroes) for the Digital Media Grand Prix, and Alfonzo Rivas & CIA's "El Poder de un Flips" (Flip Power) for the Consumers' Choice Award.
