The Association of Swiss Advertisers (ASA), together with involved parties and stakeholders, finalised a voluntary code of conduct related to media audits in the area of TV advertising.

Media auditors Accenture and Ebiquity confirmed their self-commitment to this code and that they will adhere to the preparation of methodically-correct and transparent benchmarks for TV media buying conditions for the Swiss market, as set out in the code. In return, the auditors will continue to have access to client information.

The media auditors accepting this self-commitment should create holistic transparency over the performance of media budgets. They will work discreetly and at the request of their clients.

The compliance and progress of media auditors bound by the code will be reviewed in autumn 2016. The code is open to other auditors operating in Switzerland.
