Chile honours significant contributions to marketing

Luis Pardo, President of the Association of Broadcasters (ARCHI) and the Federation of Media and Social Communication (FMCS), was announced the winner of the 2016 ANDA Award at the National Association of Chilean Advertisers' (ANDA Chile) annual dinner in October.

The dinner was attended by over 600 guests, including government officials, leaders of trade associations and companies, media executives and marketing and communications professionals.

The ANDA Award recognises individuals and institutions that have made an outstanding contribution to the development of Chile's marketing industry. The winner is chosen every year by ANDA members.

Pardo has a longstanding career of defending freedom of expression and media independence in Chile, which is why he was honoured with the prestigious award.
