WFA warmly welcomes Thomas Kragh, Sigalit Horn-Galperin, Ricardo Torres Assunção and Zuhura Odhiambo to the National Associations Council (NAC) – the global forum for heads and representatives of WFA's network of national industry associations in 60 countries.

Thomas is the new Director of the Danish Association of Advertisers and Marketers (DAOM). He was previously Chief Digital Officer for several Danish companies including Alka, Nykredit and Post Danmark. Thomas is also a marketing consultant and CEO of UserGap, a market research company. Under his leadership, DAOM is involved in GARM Nordic – a cross-industry alliance to improve digital safety and address harmful content in the Nordic region, as part of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media.

Sigalit is the new CEO of the Israel Marketing Association (IMA). She succeeds Talma Biro who led the association for over 20 years. Sigalit was IMA’s Deputy CEO before becoming CEO and has been with the association since 2005.

Ricardo is the new Executive Director of the Association of Portuguese Advertisers (APAN). He succeeds Manuela Botelho who led the association since 2005. Ricardo started his 20-year marketing career at McDonald’s and was Marketing and Communication Director for supermarket chain DIA Portugal and soft drinks company Unicer (Super Bock Group) prior to taking the helm of APAN.

Zuhura was elected as the new Chairperson of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) for 2023-2025, taking over from Charles Kariuki, Managing Director of AAR Healthcare Kenya. She is the Founder and CEO of business consultancy New Revenue Solutions Africa.
