Nigeria appoints new executive committee

As of 28 August, ADVAN, the Advertisers' Association of Nigeria, has a new executive board. Taking over from outgoing president Kola Oyeyemi is David Okeme, Brand Building Director of Unilever Nigeria Plc. In his acceptance speech, the Unilever marketer called for better understanding among industry professionals, stressing the importance of joining forces for the future of the marketing industry.

Ibraheem Awelenje, Category Manager Breakfast Cereals

Ediri Ose-Ediale remains the General Manager and Executive Secretary of the association.
