In October, the
Advertisers' Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) organised its annual
ADVAN Awards for Marketing Excellence in Lagos.
Every year, the ADVAN Awards acknowledge the hard work of Nigerian marketing professionals and celebrate marketing achievements in the different sectors.
Noodle brand Indomie was the night's big winner, being named
Brand of the Year and receiving the New
Brand/Brand Revitalisation award; its Brand Manager, Amber Yadav, was named
Brand Manager of the Year.
Heineken took home Campaign of the Year for "
Shape Your City", while Coca-Cola bagged five awards including the Digital/Social Media Marketing award for "
Share A Coke, Share A Feeling", the Innovation award for "
Alive Pulpy" and the Experiential Marketing award for "
Copa Cola".
