Under the theme “Moving Forward”, the Israel Marketing Association (IMA) held their first-ever virtual annual marketing conference which was broadcasted online and on local TV networks.
The conference featured one-on-one conversations, TED-style lectures and CEO panels. Senior marketing and business leaders including from Unilever, AIG, Strauss Group, Tnuva, Shufersal, Isracard and Israel Electric Corporation discussed how marketing and brands responded to the pandemic and reinvented themselves, and how businesses can succeed post-pandemic.
During the event, IMA CEO Talma Biro named Imri Galai, Regional General Manager - Central and South of Europe of food delivery company Wolt, as the association’s Marketing Person of 2020. Galai led the Finnish company’s entrance and expansion into the Israel market and transformed it into an innovative, consumer-focused brand. During the pandemic, Wolt supported local restaurants and provided permanent employment for people who lost their jobs or income.
You can watch all sessions from the conference on IMA’s Facebook page.
