The WFA has unveiled a raft of new speakers for Global Marketer Week at the end of April, including five new names for the Global Marketer Conference on April 27.

Rupen Desai, former CMO at Dole and Advisory Board Member of Copenhagen Cartel, Cristina Diezhandino, Chief Marketing Officer at Diageo, Ali Hanan, Founder and CEO at Creative Equals, Özlem Senturk, Senior Partner at Kantar’s global sustainable transformation practice and Charlie Thompson, Director, Commercial Reach & Influence at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, will all be speaking on the main stage at the Istanbul Lufti Kirdar ICEC.

They join a packed programme that already includes marketing leaders from AB InBev, Mastercard, Reckitt and Unilever and will address the broader ESG challenges facing all business as well as the daily task of delivering better marketing.

New speakers have also been revealed for the WFA member-only events on Wednesday 26 March.

Joining WFA CMO Forum will be Mark Kirkham, SVP and CMO of International Beverages at PepsiCo and Sinem Kaynak, Chief Growth Officer at Elida Beauty, Unilever.

Sam Stetson, VP Industry Trade Relations at Meta and Karen Sauder, President, Global Clients & Agency Solutions at Google will join the WFA Media Forum. They join Isabel Massey, VP Global Media at Diageo, Catherine Lautier, VP Global Head of Media and Integrated Brand Communication at Danone and Sameer Amin, Global Director of Data Driven Marketing and Media at Reckitt. 

New Policy Forum speakers include Andres Peñate, Global Vice-President, Corporate Affairs at AB InBev, Dale Green, Global Director, Purpose Marketing at Mars, Radha Gohil, Data Ethics and Digital, Standards Lead at Shell and Miguel Veiga Pestana, Sustainability and Corporate Reputation Management Expert.

They join already confirmed speakers Russell Dyer, SVP, Chief Communications Officer & Head of Public & Government Affairs at Mondelez, Anita Dorett, Director, Investor Alliance for Human Rights and Christina Adane, a social activist campaigning to end food poverty.

Christian Fuchs, Global Senior Director of Procurement at Campari, will join the WFA Sourcing Forum alongside Philipp Schuster, Agency and Marketing Partnerships Director, Global Strategic Marketing, Bayer and panellists, Gonda Vanzwijgenhoven, Global Procurement Director, Marketing and Media at Reckitt and Jon Wilkins, Global Chief Strategy Officer at Accenture Song.

The WFA Better Marketing event which takes place in the afternoon of April 26th at comedy club, The Jolly Joker, welcomes Solitaire Townsend, Chief Solutionist at Futerra, Dan Southern, Managing Partner at Contagious, comedian and TikTok creator, Rob Mayhew, and Rupen Desai.

They will be joined by European Commission Climate Pact Ambassador, Seren Anaçoğlu and Environmental Activist, Gökbey Yıldırım, to take a light-hearted look at how companies are showcasing their climate credentials.
