ANFO recognises brilliant examples of marketing effectiveness

February 2020 saw the results of the eighth annual ANFO Effekt, the Norwegian Association of Advertisers’ (ANFO) cornerstone award event. ANFO Effekt highlights outstanding examples of marketing communications that create value for business and brands, challenging marketers to not only come up with exciting campaigns, but communicate a clear, demonstrable connection between effort and effect.
Classified advertisements website Finn.no took home the Grand Prix award for ‘Granka, Granka, Granka!’, a warming travel campaign that went viral and recorded increased sales despite recent curbs to international travel. The full list of winners can be accessed here.
Since its launch in 2012, ANFO Effekt has amassed close to 1,000 marketing and advertising effectiveness case studies which are stored and accessible by ANFO members in a database. The ANFO Effekt database won a WFA President’s Award in 2018.
