WFA holds LATAM regional meeting in Montevideo

WFA held a two-day regional meeting in Latin America in Montevideo between 29 September and 1 October. The event brought together over 100 senior client-side marketers with global and regional responsibilities to address issues ranging from The Future of Marketing, marketing transformation and marketing effectiveness to leveraging the power of AI to drive growth and effectively navigating policy issues in the region.

The event also brought together WFA national advertiser associations from across the continent including from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The meetings were chaired by the President of the Argentinian Advertisers Association (CAA) and WFA Regional Vice-President for LATAM, Philip Perez, and were supported by Firm Decisions.

“I'm continuously struck by the speed and scale of change in Latin America," said WFA CEO Stephan Loerke. “The challenges here are the same as those faced by global marketers but just with a Latin American flavour. You really sense the energy and eagerness to learn which helps make our LATAM network go from strength to strength."
