Danish roof and skylights manufacturing company VELUX was named Advertiser of the Year and won Campaign of the Year, Best Online Campaign, and Best Sound and Production Design at True Award, the Danish Advertisers Association’s annual awards in Copenhagen.
Titled “The Indoor Generation”, the winning campaign portrays the disturbing truth about indoor life and how much time we spend on our devices. Best Film Campaign went to the Danish Ministry for Gender Equality for their awareness campaign “Violence may occur” (Vold kan forekomme) that showed different scenarios of young people in abusive relationships, with a focus on mental and emotional abuse. Other winners include IKEA, Carlsberg, Nokian Tyres and the City of Copenhagen.
Launched in 2007, True Award recognises Denmark’s best commercials, campaigns and interactive productions.
