Reach out to LGBTQ+ industry advocacy organisations, such as GLAAD (USA) and Outvertising (UK), which offer employer resources and training, including Ally and Role Model training.

In the UK, among the resources provided, Outversing gives 20 concrete actions for employers to include and support LGBTQ+ staff, which go from ensuring inclusive language in documentation, having a transitioning policy, to gathering and publishing data on LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. Another resource is the Outversing Mentor Programme, which aims at supporting LGBTIQ+ talent and allowing it to thrive. The programme runs over a six month period and envisages 6-12 sessions between mentor and mentee.
