Richa Goswami, Senior Director, Office of Marketing Value, Global Digital and Technology Excellence for J&J Consumer Health, is one of the six global marketers shortlisted for this year’s WFA Global Marketer of the Year award in partnership with The Drum. Watch the interview below.

Richa is a consumer-obsessed, digital innovator and business leader with skills acquired at world’s leading Fortune 100 Financial and Healthcare brands (HSBC, Standard Chartered and J&J). She has also been a CEO and co-founder of her Health and Wellness startup Fitness Quotient. She’s envisioned and orchestrated wide scale transformation of traditional business practices into digital models and lead organizational change. Richa has a dynamic career with strong leadership across local, regional and global roles with a proven track record of recruiting, establishing, leading, motivating and retaining teams across 35 countries.
Richa is a TEDx speaker, recognized by Campaign Asia as a Top 25 CMO and Top 25 Innovator in 2018 according to Holmes report. She was recently recognized as a Top 100 Global Digital Marketeer by Drum Digerati. She is a Cannes winner (2018, 2019), D&DA, Effie’s, Smarties, WARC Strategy Gold medal winner to name a few.
What are the things she's most proud of?
Richa has been one of the driving forces behind J&J's purpose-inspired work 'Project Free Period'. "It took courage to get us here and to see this come alive is a dream come true for marketers at J&J, for our agency partners and NGOs alike," she said about the initiative. "I believe in the power of collective good and being the change we want to see in this world, and I am fortunate that I got to walk the talk", she added.
Richa is also very excited about the progress J&J has made in data-inspired creative and personalised content, which has become a reality across J&J brands globally.
She was at the lead of partnerships with global start-ups, as well as Facebook and Google, to executve cutting-edge capabilities across dynamic creative optimisation, influencer marketing, personalisation and connected experiences. "I'm extremely proud that purpose and personalisation are now the new normal for all J&J marketers."
