What was on the agenda:
Session 1: Priorities and planning for 2022
- NAC survey: WFA presented the results of a survey on national associations’ planning for 2022, including on their day-to-day operations, membership and events.
- Belgium: Luc Suykens (UBA) shared on the association’s D&I and sustainability strategy and how they are reinventing their long-running training programme, the UBA Academy.
- UAE: Priya Sarma (ABG) presented the association’s 2022 plans to drive change in the ad industry and their knowledge and capability development initiatives.
Session 2: Updates on research projects with national associations
- ‘Clients and Creativity’ research: WFA gave an update on the upcoming global study that will look at how client-side marketers are navigating the challenges and opportunities in driving creativity.
- The Global DEI Census: Following the launch of the Global DEI Census report in December, WFA invited national associations to participate in the next edition of the research planned for spring 2023.
